The Good Garden enrichment curriculum is designed to provide educators the tools to raise students’ awareness on the issues of food security and sustainable agriculture. We encourage educators and students to reflect on these lessons and to take action on the fight against hunger in their communities by joining in the Good Garden Food Drive and Community Garden projects.

Maria's Story Presentation

Maria's Story is an engaging way to introduce The Good Garden message to your school or organization. Amma Sefa-Dedeh, One Hen Executive Director, personally tells the story of Maria, a girl from Honduras ...

Ms. Sefa-Dedeh's presentation includes The Good Garden reading combined with an interactive media presentation and can include additional activities depending on the needs of the organization. Presentation can be designed as one to three hour or full day programs and can be modified to address K-8th grade students as well as to incorporate Good Garden teacher training.

To check availability of a Maria's Story presentation or to request information please email and put Maria's Story in the subject line.
